I've been experimenting with near infrared photography, both color and black and white expressions. The filter is fairly dark, and it requires a long exposure, which casts a glassy stillness upon any running water, as with Lake Washington in Seattle here. The children at play at the water's edge dance like spirits, never resting for a clear look at their faces. A glow grasps the trees, entrancing the eye.
