A pet hedgehog came by to pose for sketches. Beatrix Potter said Miss Tiggy Winkle, her pet hedgehog, got grumpy and bored when Miss Potter painted her for one of her stories. Miss Tiggy would yawn and close her eyes--if Miss Potter was not careful, she would give a painful nip! This hedgehog was anything but bored, and handling her, (with care), was a treat.
