Lately I've begun experimenting with near infrared filter photography. These long exposures greatly alter the color in an image and allow foliage to adopt an ethereal glow because the trees absolutely refuse to sit still for the camera. Additionally, the clouds blur until indistinct, enhancing the image's overall haze. This strikingly upright flora was captured at the Bellevue Botanical Garden in Bellevue, Washington near Seattle.
