I am a color fanatic! I love mixing lithographic inks and pushing them around with different oil viscosities to create various depths of unique colors. Through my love of color, I create whimsical abstract paintings that almost tell a sequential story, yet stand alone as individual pieces. This piece is one of a series of mono-prints created to study the evolution of a circle and colors. The circle comes to life through use of color, texture and composition. This piece is bold & graphic yet whimsical & painterly. The lithographic inks sit beautifully on the surface of the paper. Strokes of the brush & roller are almost touchable.
