To me, there is nothing quite like seeing the moonrise slowly transform day into the dreamscape of night. Inspired by a moonrise over my home in the Pacific Northwest, this painting is an attempt to capture the magic of this experience using vibrant tones and textured strokes. As a symbol of the unconscious, dreams, and balance, the moon is a teacher and creative muse that reminds me to notice the cyclic nature of reality.
