Recently, there was a total solar eclipse, with the moon completely blocking the sun from view in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, there was also a large bank of clouds obscuring most of the eclipse on the very same day. Fortunately, the sun poked through the clouds often enough to capture some dramatic shots. Increased saturation brings out the colors inherent to the storm clouds.
