About the work
This piece was inspired by cozy rain days in the South Carolina Lowcountry. I've always loved a good rainy day. This year we had an historic "Thousand Year Flood" in South Carolina, and my family spent many, many days "stuck" at home. We don't have television, so we spent the days crafting, playing games, and just hanging out. It was a magical rainy season.
