Ten Green Things includes exactly what it describes, ten green things. In this case a cactus, a sailboat, a turtle, a lime, a grasshopper, scissors, a bird, a watering can and a shamrock. Individually these ten things seem random and unrelated. Collectively, the illustrate a full picture of the color green. Pieces like this help children collect, organize and categorize objects.
