About the work
As my daughter and I drew with sidewalk chalk on the driveway, I noticed the shadows of branches swaying in the breeze. The patterns of shadows and light creating abstract forms inspired me to capture that fleeting moment in paint. A limited color palette accentuates the design of leafy shapes.
