I came across this small herd of cattle weathering out the blizzard storm in silence. I heard no mooing, only the harsh wind and blinding snow across the meadow. They were huddled together to defend themselves from the cold. The graphic contrast of their black coats hidden inside this snowstorm inspired me to take this photograph.
