About the work
The look of trust and calmness in this wild mustang's eyes inspired me to take this photograph. I loved how his weathered mane flowed over his white blaze and I wanted to capture this beautiful horse in a simplistic and graphic way to keep the focus on his eye and his liberation of fear.
