Basia's artistic process is based in inspiration, experimentation, and play. After manually exploring mixed media, including photographs from a recent walk or trip, saved paper samples, or snippets of colors and textures from found objects, she scans these elements and digitally manipulates them, often playing with color and final compisition. A former graphic designer, this hands-on approach helps her feel calm and present. Formerly from a small town in Poland, she now calls Michigan home.
