Hello! I am Nerea Azanza, the artist behind this artwork. I call my vision Art in Expansion. My art is a journey of finding how we are connected, expanding elements through precise freehand lines in space.
The Re.connectiON series begins in the year 2021 after a long period of eleven months of isolation in Paris. I am Spanish, and being new in the city in such a difficult period wasn't easy. Therefore, I felt the need to reconnect with many elements that nourish me: The Mediterranean Sea, the warm weather and the earth of my country, the fresh air of the mountains, and Japan, among others. I finished this series in 2023. Each piece reconnects us with a different element that inspires its colors. The titles will give you an idea of the element we wish to reconnect with. I hope you can feel it!
