This piece was inspired by three little toys I found at a general store. I love the look of vintage items, even this small reproduction, and I wanted to explore the shape of the toy as well as the metallic paint it was created in. I decided to use a metallic paper as a backdrop, to reflect both the feel of the paint and the toy itself. The overall effect is very fun and gives the image a retro feel. This is one in a three piece series of Retro Toys.
