In April of 2019, I had recently lost my in-house illustration job and found myself with hours and hours of unspent creative energy. I decide to take time every day to create a new illustration and embarked on a 100 Days project. For 100 days, I created a unique illustration on the basic theme of "shapes". Coming Together was illustrated about halfway through the project, just as I was getting back on my feet and things were coming more naturally again. This design explores simple building blocks engaging with each other while embracing negative space.
