Inspired by the many landscapes in California. I lived there for a bit and had so much fun taking photographs of the various destinations. This painting is in memory of springtime with mist over the horizon. My brushstrokes are purposely placed to invoke a sense of movement and calm.I want the viewer to feel as if they could fall into the landscape just like I do.
