This photo was taken at Shoreline park in Mountain View, California, on a lightly clouded day. It was calm, no wind. The birds were peacefully pecking the grass on the cost of the lake. The wide horizon was lighted by the descending sun, which was also slightly gilding the lake. The entire landscape was a beautiful image of peace.
