This photograph was taken at Ueno Park in Tokyo, Japan in early April. The sukura (cherry blossoms), which bloom for only a short time each year, were in full bloom. I was inspired by "Hanami", the traditional Japanese custom of enjoying and celebrating the transient beauty of flowers.
