About the work
One day, after painting several abstracts, I kept getting drawn back to this one, not only for the bold colors and large, graphic shapes but because it looked like a rooster carrying a suitcase. While I did not set out to paint that image, it was a very happy accident. I so very much love the humor of this painting.
