Have you ever been on a hike, and the sights and sounds around you are so intensely beautiful you lose your breath for a second? That's the feeling I was going for in my painting, "Look Out." When we focus on ourselves and our problems and me, me, me, we risk missing such glory all around us. Hence the double-meaning title I chose for this piece.
