I caught this photo as I was taking a bike ride on the Upper West Side of NYC. The light filtered through the West Side Highway above me created a pattern along the street and bike path below. I looked through my lens and wanted to capture the quiet simplicity of the moment, the hazy afternoon, and the way nature and architecture, for a moment, come together to create interesting patterns.
