This is a special scene for me of an early morning sunrise along the shoreline. It's such a peaceful time of day when moored boats bob lightly on the water waiting for the day to begin. Here, sunlight has just spilled over the nearby hillside warming the waters within its reach. I love how the warm light brings this particular boat in the foreground to life as if to gently wake it from its slumber.
