There's nothing more intriguing to me than a beautiful old wooden boat. I wonder where it's been, how it was used and being used today. Many are in disrepair but this little jewel seems to be in good shape. I'm always drawn to red so it's no surprise to have painted a red boat. But, in this piece the shoreline's reflection in the water was even more interesting and a challenge to paint!
