My best friend from high school has great shoes. And I have a 20 year-old camera that my father purchased in college. One day, the two interests came together, and though this is not the most exotic shoe, I couldn't resist the contrast in darks and lights. It reminds me that all people are complex, and very often contradictory - which is part of what creates the vast human beauty around us.
