About the work

A quietly colourful abstract with loose chalk pastel strokes and scribbles. I always find landscapes, even in my abstract work, and to me this suggested the quiet colour at dusk. I imagined I was sitting at the edge of a pond, listening to the sound of nightfall, and enjoying the peaceful colour. This was created as a digital pastel drawing and can be paired with Just before Nightfall, I, for a colourful but peaceful modern effect.
