‘Arroyo’ is an enlivening abstract piece that reflects the bold palettes found among high desert landscapes. At higher altitudes every color, shape and shadow is so vivid and clear. I wanted to capture the essential qualities of these bold colors with gestural marks to create a fun and dynamic piece of contemporary art.
