‘Enrapture’ explores the dynamic interplay between complimentary colors with organic shapes and texture. I have always been drawn to the bold and sometimes otherworldly beauty of the high desert, which is a stark contrast to the soft, fecund landscapes of the South where I grew up. Having lived in the ‘Land of Enchantment’, aka New Mexico, I developed a deep love of its rugged landscape and vivid desert colors. ‘Enrapture’ is a sort of visual ode to that special place that has always filled me with a sense of joy and deep wonder.
