Process and imperfection become the essence of a work, in which the only pursuit is the miracle of beauty. Repeating one single image until amazement, doing it in a thousand different ways: the ones I know, the ones I sense, the ones I invent. Escaping from knowledge, and allowing my painting to be touched by play and emotion. Here it is where the possibility of something new appears. As Gilles Deleuze wrote: "Perhaps the peculiarity of great art is to pass through the finite in order to rediscover, to restore the infinite"
