About the work

I own a stack of vintage postcards, some of them date back to 1904, and they bring me a lot of joy. I don't collect blank ones -- I am mostly interested in the stories that emerge from the writing on the back so I always look for a card with beautiful handwriting. In this case, Lottie admits that the "town is dry" since her friend went away and for some reason I cannot help but smile every time I read that. I love this card so much that I wanted it printed large so I can hang it on the wall. I hope others enjoy it as much as I do.
