Driving along the southern coast of Iceland on a gray and rainy day, we saw a small herd of horses at a farm on the side of the road. Their thick, unruly manes and short, distinctive bodies captured our attention, so we pulled over. The horses crowded along the fence to meet us, and I quickly snapped a photo to capture the moment.
