I took this photograph while exploring the Oregon coast. Crashing waves are best captured at extremely fast shutter speeds - this shot was taken at 1/2500th of a second. At this speed, the exploding wave is frozen in time, capturing every droplet before it falls to the rock and recedes into the ocean- only to repeat again.
