While sailing in the Pacific I was completely mesmerized by the light on the sea. Light is transformative and in this shot, I worked to capture the feeling of movement, a birds-eye view of a voyager heading for the undefined horizon, the brilliant sparkles on the surface inspiring the eye onwards. So much of life is analogous to this, we are constantly moving and while our end goals may be defined we have no way of knowing everything that we will encounter on our journey towards them. I hope this work brings a sense of mystery, longing, and peace.
