This loving, warm, friendly giraffe was painted after a friend's baby was born. I was inspired by their son's room full of delightful wild animals and lush green mural artwork. The piece is gender neutral, but the youthful look of the animal and the loose brushwork along with the eyelashes present an inviting, nurturing or motherly and welcoming emotion.
