Inspired by Alexander Calder’s mobile artworks, this lamp uses both static balance and dynamic movement as design elements. In its unactivated form the Mobile represents a graceful harmony of balance and subtlety. When activated by gently nudging the system it becomes a hypnotic kinetic sculpture. The nudge sets in motion a series of graceful over-corrections until the Mobile slowly finds its way to equilibrium once more.
