This piece is inspired by my painting of blue trees. I love color, texture and movement in a painting. I did own a home based bakery a few years ago and this piece reminds me of my pavlova shells and buttercream icing that is why I called it Good enough to Eat.

My favorite material is oil paint. I enjoy the process of putting the paint on canvas, scraping it off and using my palette knife. Painting is full of surprises. I never know exactly how a painting will turn out. I am inspired by color, nature and the paint itself, especially oil paint and the way colors interact with each other. less
