This piece was created using acrylic inks on raw canvas to capture the beautiful fluid movement and depth of free flowing water. I love the unpredictability of this medium and how it encourages me to create with an intuitive process- working together with where the inks naturally want to flow as opposed to pushing towards a preconceived end result. In surrendering to the process, I find the end result is often even more interesting and meaningful. Vibrant layers of blues and greens are balanced with light neutrals for a modern, elegant and calming piece.
