Last Run captures dancing shadows and the last breathtaking view of the day as the sun sets across the lake channel. A hint of orange and pink disappear across the skyline as the calm lake waters turn to glass. Inspired by our summer lake trips spent on Lake LBJ with family & friends.

As an artist I focus on weaving water into my work. I’m captivated by the healing properties it contains both as a necessity in life and the way it guides me as I paint with it. My process is meditational and transcendent. Layer by layer -building on thoughts, memories and emotions - something intangible forms, its familiar and perhaps universal. The water flows and I guide it on canvas to capture these intentions within my work. less
