This painting was inspired by a unique view of the ocean when looking down over the edge of a sea cliff, the waves bouncing off rocks creating overlapping yet still colliding colors. I wanted the viewer to be drawn into the painting first by the bold brushstrokes and secondly by the bold yet soothing hues.
