The story behind this piece is about my travels in the Caribbean over the years. At times I was lucky enough to have sunshine everyday and at other times it would rain furiously. So I created this for those windy rainy days, where the ocean waves and all the rain would come crashing down and then sweep over the island. The highlights of pink are for flamingos and the ochre brown is for the sand on the beach. The whole experience of these days were calm and yet dramatic. I used handmade textures and watercolor digital paints.
