During a study abroad trip to Mexico I was struck by the layers of homes stretching up the hillsides -- it was overwhelming. While the colors were beautiful, I was mainly interested in the architecture and relief created on the surface of the hillside. I hope to capture the viewer's attention, hypnotizing them with repeating inky homes.
