This beachscape drawing uses sketched areas of color and dramatic lighting to convey the feeling of a warm summer day with beach grass. It is inspired by my vacations to the beach on the east coast and west coast. One particular area is called the Crystal Coast in North Carolina. The soft sand with beach grass on a quiet windy day.
