About the work
The surreal feeling I got when I came across this herd of wild mustangs inspired me to take this photograph. There was an opening of light in the clouds that they appeared to be chasing as if running towards the day's dusk. I loved the contrast of the storm clouds and the way it seemed to highlight their freedom in the desert.
