Bonsai(Japanese tree pot art) inspired still life dessin. I tried to reinterpret the traditional Bonsai with a western style coffee cup and a characterful twig, which I picked up from the Central Park, NY(exact spot on Google map :40°46'25.5"N 73°58'11.9"W). This is one of the related bodies of work spinning off from "Birch Story" and "Birch", the second place winner of Drawing and Sketching challenge 2016

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jinhee began drawing at a very early age by her Tiger-Mother who is running Art schools. Since 4th grade, she has learned from dessin to water & oil paintings under the traditional art curriculums in S.Korea and Japan.
