About the work

This piece is part of a series where I was experimenting with color and value. I love playing with how colors melt into one another and mix in lovely unexpected ways. Purple has always been a color I have shied away from, so this was a way to get out of my comfort zone and just have fun with paint and color blending. The result is etherial and expressive.
