Queen Anne's Lace, also known as a wild carrot, has a interesting structure. From below the full plane of tiny blossoms, there is a support system. Green arms hold up the tiny white blooms -- natural architecture. Easily found growing in fields or along roadsides, it is always a happy sign. Childhood memories flood back of my mother cutting it to place in colored water. Overnight the white petals turned blue, yellow, pink, or purple.
