This is always a favorite palette that makes me feel of summer and the shore. Get lost in the hypnotizing teal and blue waves over the textures of a sandy like shore. The wash of blues, teal, white and gold remind me of wet sandy toes. This painting was done on a 60x48 canvas in acrylic.

As an artist, painting can be tormenting and sublime at the same time. I'm a big risk taker, experimenting with different materials to layer, stain, scrap and saturate color on large canvases. My most successful work is complex yet minimal. Some of my work achieves a sense of fluid movement with saturated color, while my newer collection is so textured it is like frosting.
