This piece was made from cut and reassembled monoprints I made with black and silver block printing ink. I loved the play of colors and textures in the block printing ink and curves and lines created by places pieces on top of each other. The small blue lines and cracks make me think of the movement of water through the Earth's crust and the layered cut pieces reminded me of the far side of the moon which we don't see from Earth.
