About the work

I start every day with a cup of coffee, so the statement "But First Coffee" is something I live by everyday. I had the idea to create a typographic art print with the "But First Coffee" saying but to display it in a way that made it look like it was written with actual coffee. The drips and drops and watercolor feel of the finished product makes me want another coffee.
