About the work
The beauty of this Tibetan yak and the look of curiosity in his eyes inspired me to take this photograph. I loved the graphic black and white quality of his dark coat against the fresh snow. I wanted to take a close up shot so that the viewer could look into his eyes and see all the details of the snow.
