About the work
I have always enjoyed the primitive aspect of staring into a campfire and letting my mind drift with the flames. There is something captivating and almost hypnotically soothing about the experience. I have begun work on a series of fire paintings to capture that sensation. This one is raging against the wind, I love the motion and I couldn't get the idea of a dragon out of my mind!
